Over halfway [2020-10-30]

Reneal Team Tanzania and our partners at Habari Node and Arusha Node Marie have been making amazing progress!  Four new Reneal computer labs have already been installed in government schools in Longido District: Longido Secondary School A-Level, Namanga Secondary School, Engarenaibor Secondary School, and Tingatinga Secondary School.  We are very excited to welcome these schools to the Reneal family, and we hope the students and teachers learn a lot with these new resources.

Reneal Country Director David Nyangaka has coordinated with Longido District personnel to get the Team and equipment to the schools for the installations.  Jane Langoi of Habari Node works with David to arrange the schedule.  Habari Node participants to date are long-time colleagues Elibariki Melami and Sebastian Kyagara plus Evance Kessy of Arusha Node Marie.  We are also happy to be joined by Collins Moshi and Ashura Yusuph from the Arusha Regional Office and Anorld Christopher from the Longido District Council Office.  Robert Nyangaka and Erick Mneney of our very own Reneal Team Tanzania round out this hard-working group.  They are able to turn an empty room with tables into a fully functioning computer lab in a single day!

Robert and Erick return for a second day to each school for Super User training for the computer teachers, showing them how to maintain the system.  They also provide Teacher Orientation, sharing with teachers in other subject areas the different educational resources on the Reneal system.

Four labs completed – three to go!
