It takes a team [2014-12-12]

2014 has been a year of significant growth for Reneal IEO.  Partially that is due to Neal’s continued efforts to make the low-cost computer system more and more turn-key.  However the main reason is that we now have fantastic in-country partners working with us.  They help to facilitate the entire process, from identifying candidate schools to coordinating travel to installing the labs and finally to long-term support and maintenance.  They have been “force multipliers” to make many more Reneal IEO projects possible.

At the last Reneal IEO Board of Directors meeting, the board voted unanimously to thank and commend our partners for the 2014 Tanzania projects.  We were helped by many, but the contributions of David Nyangaka (Arusha District Office), Gilbert Maeda, John Peter, and David Daniel (Arusha Node Marie), and Erik Rowberg (Habari Node Ltd) in particular stood out.  On behalf of the Board of Directors, we send our thanks to these people and look forward to working with them again in 2015!

A similar commendation was sent to our 2014 Philippines team by the board, and it won’t be long before we are back with Team Philippines to start our 2015 projects.  We are excited to be a part of these teams, energized and supported by their skill and our shared passion for the mission of bringing opportunities to students and teachers in the world of technology!
