Project Plans

2013 March-April - COMPLETE. Returned to Philippines. Upgraded operating system for Compostela National High School, performed site evaluations at five schools for future projects, and coordinated with committee for selection of new students for high school scholarship program.
 
2013 August-September - COMPLETE. Returned to Tanzania. Installed IT labs and did teacher training at Paroma Secondary School in Musoma and at Mukulat Secondary School and Mlangarini Secondary School, both in Arusha.  Performed site evaluations at six schools for future projects.
 
2014 January-June - COMPLETE.  Returned to Philippines. Installed low-cost computer system in six schools evaluated in 2013 plus teacher trainings.  See the plan here and the hardware request here.  Added one additional school that had been damaged in Typhoon Haiyan.
 
2014 September-November - COMPLETE.  Returned to Tanzania.  Installed low-cost computer system in three schools evaluated in 2013 plus teacher trainings.  The plan is here.  Performed site evaluations at several schools for future projects.

2015 January-February and May-July - COMPLETE.  Returned to Philippines. Installed low-cost computer system in five schools evaluated in 2014 plus teacher trainings.  See the plan here.  Added two additional schools, a night high school serving working students and a Science and Technology High School severely damaged in Typhoon Haiyan.  Made software updates at all schools.  Held the first-ever Cebu Open Source Software Championship.  Performed site evaluations for potential 2016 projects.

2015 October-November - COMPLETE.  Returned to Tanzania.  Installed low-cost computer system in four schools evaluated in 2014 plus teacher trainings.  The project plan is here.  Also installed the Reneal system at a community center.  Held system administration training for all computer teachers. 

2016 January-February - COMPLETE.  Returned to Philippines and installed the Reneal computer system at five schools.  The project plan is here.

2016 September-October - COMPLETE.  Returned to Philippines and installed the Reneal computer system at five schools, including two at new Senior High Schools.  The project plan is here.

2017 January-March - COMPLETE.  Returned to Philippines and installed the Reneal computer system at one school. 

2017 August-October - COMPLETE.  Returned to Tanzania.  Installed low-cost computer systems in two schools plus teacher trainings. 

2018 January-March - COMPLETE.  Returned to the Philippines to install Reneal computer systems at two schools, including our first university installation.

2018 August-October - COMPLETE.  Returned to Tanzania to install Reneal computer systems at three schools.

2019 January-March - COMPLETE.  Returned to the Philippines to install Reneal computer systems at one school, plus perform maintenance and upgrades.

2019 August-October - COMPLETE.  Returned to Tanzania to install Reneal computer systems at four schools.

2020 January-February - COMPLETE.  Returned to Tanzania to upgrade three schools to MacBook systems, add mini MacBooks labs at two schools for A-level students, and install Reneal computer systems at two schools.

2020 September-October - COMPLETE.  Reneal Team Tanzania installed computer labs in five schools in Longido District in Arusha Region.

2021 April-June - COMPLETE.  With the generous support of Apto Solutions (www.aptosolutions.com), Reneal Team Team Tanzania installed computer labs in four schools in Arusha City and expanded five active existing computer labs in Arusha district.

2021 July-2022 February - COMPLETE.  Apto Solutions continuing generosity led to new computer labs in six schools in Handeni District (Tanga Region), three schools in Meru District, one school in Arusha City, and one school in Arusha District.

2022 February-April - COMPLETE.  Phase 3 of the 2021 Apto Solutions projects resulted in seven new computer labs being installed in schools in Kondoa District, Arusha District, Monduli District, and Meru District.

2022 April-December - COMPLETE.  2022 Phase 1 projects sponsored by Apto Solutions led to ten new computer labs in Kondoa District, Meru District, Arusha District, and Babati Town Council in Manyara Region.

2023 January-March - In Progress.  2022 Phase 2 projects will equip nine new schools in Lindi Region, Monduli District, Babati District, and Kondoa District.  Two existing labs will also be expanded.
